The FG heritage extends back to the 1966 release of the FG180, Yamaha’s first production acoustic guitar. I bought it in Bakersfield, CA '78, and have never seen the equal. Its not quite as loud as a D35 which they were copying but it sounds and plays just as well. I know it is a great guitar. So responsive, so eager to go, to get it out...and the sound builds and the blood surges and soon you are crashing and thundering through the changes and it is just...just excellent.
